AumCreate Theme Installation Guide

Preparation

After purchasing and downloading the theme, you will receive the following files. Please confirm they are all present:

Framework parent theme package: this is the parent theme installer itself. The filename usually contains the word Framework.

Theme package: after extraction, it contains the child theme installer and the demo content archive.

Plugin package (only included with some themes): functional plugins developed in-house by us.

Installation order is critical: install the Framework parent theme first, then the child theme, and finally install and activate the bundled plugins.

Step 1: Open the theme installation entry

Log in to the WordPress admin, click the left-hand menu Appearance → Themes, then click the Add Theme button at the top of the page.

Step 2: Click Upload Theme

At the top of the Add Themes page, click the Upload Theme button to open the archive upload screen.

Step 3: Select the file to upload

Click Choose File, pick the theme archive you want to install from the downloaded files, then click Install Now.

Step 4: Understand your file package

After downloading, you will see files similar to the image below. First identify the purpose of each file:

Aumcreate-Framework-xxxxx-v x.x: Framework parent theme package, which is the parent theme installer itself.

theme-lumae-xxxxx-v x.x: child theme installer, extracted from the theme package.

Plugin-xxxxxxx bundled plugin installer (if the theme includes one)

Extracted from the theme-lumae-xxxxx-v x.x child theme installer

demo: demo content archive.

Step 5: Install the Framework parent theme

First upload the Framework parent theme package (e.g. Aumcreate-Framework-xxx.zip). The system displays Theme installed successfully.

You do not need to activate it here; just continue installing the child theme. The child theme is the one to be activated in the end.

Step 6: Upload the child theme package

Return to the Upload Theme screen, click Choose File to select the child theme package (e.g. aum-lumae.zip), then click Install Now.

Step 7: Activate the child theme

When the child theme is uploaded, the system automatically detects the parent theme (Framework parent theme), confirms that the parent theme Aumcreate is installed, and then shows a successful installation. Click Activate to enable the child theme.

Step 8: Install bundled plugins (if any)

If your purchased theme includes a plugin package developed by us, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, select the plugin archive (e.g. Plugin-reserva-booking-xxx.zip), and click Install Now.

After installation, click Activate Plugin.

Step 9: Review the theme’s required plugin notice

Once the theme and bundled plugins are installed, open the AumCreate theme settings page from the left-hand menu. A notice at the top reads The following plugins are required, listing the plugins needed from the theme marketplace, such as Elementor, One Click Demo Import, Contact Form 7, WooCommerce, and others.

At this point the theme is not yet licensed, so a red unlicensed warning appears and most feature tabs remain locked.

Step 10: Install all required plugins in one click

Click the One-click install all button in the top-right corner. The system automatically installs and activates all marketplace plugins, with no need to handle them one by one.

Plugins marked Please upload manually in the list (e.g. AUM Reserva Booking) must be installed manually by extracting the zip from the theme package, as described in Step 8.

Step 11: Obtain the license code

Open the AumCreate official website, go to My Account → Activate License, find your purchased theme, bind your site domain, and obtain the corresponding License Code.

Make sure the bound domain matches your current site domain (e.g. lumae.aumdemo.com).

Step 12: Enter the license code and verify

Return to the License Verification tab on the theme settings page, paste the license code into the License Code field, and click Verify.

After successful verification, the status shows valid and the verification time is recorded. All feature tabs and functions are now unlocked.

The child theme and bundled plugins automatically reuse this license code for secondary verification, so you do not need to enter it again.

Step 13: Open the Import/Export tab

After successful licensing, click the Import/Export Settings tab and locate the Import Demo Package section.

Step 14: Select the Demo archive and upload

Click Choose File, select the demo.zip extracted from the theme package, and click Upload & Import. The system indicates it is processing the archive; please wait.

Step 15: Start importing Demo data

Once the archive is parsed, the theme’s Demo preview image and description are shown. Click the Import Demo Data button at the bottom of the page.

Step 16: Confirm recommended plugins and continue

Before importing, the system suggests some recommended plugins (not required, not recommended by AUM). Select them as needed, then click Continue & Import in the bottom-right corner.

Step 17: Wait for the content import

The Importing Content screen appears. Do not refresh the page or click back during the import; please wait patiently until it finishes.

Step 18: Import complete

When you see Import Complete! with a green checkmark, the Demo content has been imported successfully.

You can now click Visit Site to view results identical to the official demo, or click Theme Settings to continue customizing.

All done

Your site now has the exact same appearance and content as the demo site, and you can start freely editing and customizing it.
